For your convenience, on arrival & departure days we offer one shuttle between the nearest train station or airport and our tour's first hotel. Before finalizing your travel plans, please contact us for details on the time of the shuttle. It is necessary to arrive in Italy the day before the wine tour begins, in order to meet the morning shuttle. In addition, we would be happy to provide suggestions for your pre- or post-tour itinerary and accommodations. [Top]

We are available to organize a custom tour tailored to meet your specific interests, dates, and type of accommodation. Call for more information. [Top]

To reserve a trip, call us toll free at 1-888-746-0022 or email/fax the reservation form on this site (fax: 718-499-2618). A $400 per-person deposit is required to reserve your space. The balance is due 60 days prior to your departure date. We accept checks or credit cards (Visa and Mastercard). You will subsequently receive a tour confirmation package containing trip details, background articles, travel directions and train schedule, what to pack, and an assumption of risk form, which must be signed and returned prior to the tour. [Top]

Tour prices are based on a double accommodation. Single rooms can be booked for an additional fee [see individual tour itineraries for pricing]. Please note, single rooms in many Italian hotels are smaller than doubles, so what you are paying for is the privacy of your own room. [Top]

Cancellations must be received in writing 60 days prior to the date of departure. You will receive a refund, less a $75/person cancellation fee. Between 59-45 days prior to the start date, you may apply 40% of the tour price towards a future trip departing within one year of the cancellation date. Cancellations made less than 45 days before the start of the trip will result in the loss of all monies received. No refunds will be made for a cancellation during the course of the tour, nor for unused portions of the trip. No exceptions to our cancellation policy are made, including weather or personal emergency. Therefore, we strongly recommend travel insurance. [Top]

Trip cancellation and health/accident insurance are recommended to prevent needless loss of money in case of illness, accident, or other unanticipated occurrences. La Dolce Vita does not provide such insurance, nor does it assume responsibility or liability for any loss or damage of personal effects or for any injury or loss during the duration of the tour. [Top]

Clients should be in good physical condition and are responsible for selecting a tour suitable to their athletic ability. Participants on non-active tours should still be prepared to do some walking over uneven terrain (vineyard paths, cobblestone streets, etc.). Clients are required to act in a responsible manner at all times, and to act with respect towards other guests, the instructors, and the property. We reserve the discretionary right to decline to accept or to require any individual to withdraw from any tour, or to limit the amount of wine any participant may consume. La Dolce Vita is not responsible for the actions of our contracted service providers. [Top]

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we may find it necessary to make adjustments in our stated itinerary. Any changes will maintain the high standard of our tours. Changes in accommodation will be replaced by a hotel of equal or superior rating. [Top]

La Dolce Vita reserves the right to cancel a tour. In this unlikely situation, you would receive a complete refund of the monies received. La Dolce Vita will not assume any other liability and is not responsible for any personal expenses as a result of a tour cancellation, such as airline tickets or pre-paid hotel reservations. [Top]
